Why should I have a web site?

It seems strange to some, unnecessary. Most of us are not working in a
high tech business. Yet you will find that many more people (clients) and
their family members are using the web to shop, learn, and locate businesses
in their area. And if you polled all your clients, I think you would be surprised
to learn how many of your clients have a web site.

Oh, a web site still doesn't measure up to your ad in the yellow pages. You do
have an ad in the yellow pages, right? No ... well get one, you don't realize
how valuable a yellow pages ad can be to your bottom line. That plays true
for the web, most of us don't yet realize that a web site will contribute to
the bottom line.
And when you get your web site, whether you do it yourself, hire someone else,
or hire us to do it ...... put that web site address on your business cards, on
all your promotional materials .... on your yellow pages ad ... phone your
Better Business Bureau and have your web site included in your local shopping
and personal services links.
Your web site will be available to your clients and potential clients 24 hours a day.

How do I choose and order a web site?

First, you look at other peoples web sites. See what you like, what you think
is effective. We have links on our site that will lead you to several web sites we
have designed. Check other sites out and decide what kind of 'look' you are
interested in. Do not be overcome or impressed with the many gimmicks and
do-dads and flashing lights and ringing bells that are found on many web sites.
They do little but distract from the impact and purpose of your web site.
Our design principal is color and simplicity, a bright, clean look.

Think about the colors and designs and clipart and backgrounds ..... at least
have a general idea of what you want for your web site.

Think about the layout. Will you want a full size page layout, or a top page frame,
or a left side page frame. Do you want buttons or pictures or text to be used for
links. It requires some thought and that is why we recommend that you do the
'window shopping' at our other web sites to decide which type of site you prefer.
Then email us and describe what look you want to achieve.

Pricing and Options and Styles and Sizes

Say you want a one page web. It will have a background and a clip art and your
name and salon name, address, telephone. Your can include hours of services,
list services and prices. Even include an email. An all-in-one web page.
It's $ 199.

Perhaps you want a muli-page site. Separate pages for your services and prices,
stuff like that. Pages two and three are priced at $ 75.
So, a three page site would cost $ 349.

Additional pages are priced at $50.
So, a four page site would cost $ 399..
A five page site would cost $ 449.
and so on...

How we construct and deliver your site

You email us and describe what look and information you want on your site.
It helps to list what other sites you have looked at that you like.
We will design and construct your home page,
and place it out on the web for you to examine,
and when you approve it ....
then we ask for money.
At this time we accept checks and money orders.

Then we put the finishing touches on the site and deliver it ...

and where do you put your web site, right..

most anywhere. We recommend you put your web site on a free provider.
There are lots of them, we can help with that.
About a quarter of our sites are now on free providers that have a big advertising
popup that has a 2 minute timer on it and the popup keeps returning.
Avoid that, we are moving off of those providers.
At the current time, for free providers, we like geocities, and talkcity, and
tripod, and angelfire - they have the least annoying popups.

Popup ads are why hosting your web site is free .... advertising is the income
for the host provider. If you would like a host without any popups, we
currently like hypermart. They provide popup free hosting for $ 10 monthly.
